ok everyone she is not lieing when she says that it burns !! okay so i got my hair permed and then i used ApHogee (same thing she used) but it was a Two-Step Protein Treatment and it burned like all hell..never again..good treatment though in my opinion but wish it wasnt soo painful

sorry that that protein treatment burned your head, like you said it is good though, but it did not burn me, the only thing that used to burn me was using a certain shampoo after getting a relaxer, but the aphogee shampoo doesn't burn. i am glad that you liked the two-step protein treatment though, well other than the burning!!!!!!!!

i have a color alarm shampoo that kind of gives off colors to let you know that there is still relaxer in so i wash it out as thorough as possible.

You are not suppose to use the "two step protein treatment" right after a perm. You should use that about a week before your relaxer. Now the "two minute reconstructer is fine to use after a relaxer. The two step and the two minute are very different.

Aphogee Two-Step protein is a hard protein and should not be used the same day or week of your newly applied relaxer. Instead, the Two-Step proetein should be used the week prior to your relaxer and every six weeks after that. The protein treatment that you can add the same day as your relaxer is the 2 min Reconstrutor by Aphoghee. That is a light protein and won't burn. Hope this helps!

@detanymiller no you have to let it grow out and gradually cut off the permed ends or do a big chop

your only suppose to wash with the Aphogee Damage shampoo once...twice is too much...its stronger then the average shampoo...you can read the back and it even says wash once.

This cleared it up for me, I was getting really confused in when its most recommended to use the 2 step protein treatment, I know it could be used a week before the relaxer but wasn't sure if it could be used a week after one. Thanks.
