  • very good! i very much agree that this needs to be in schools so much more.

    If GIS was in schools, it would AWESOME. there is so much that students who are not involved through 4-h or another way,are missing out on so many great opportunities. The youth need to know this, WE ARE THE FUTURE. a

  • Whatever you do, don't discuss issues surrounding the geography of capitalism. If you do, you'll be targeted and ostracized. Unless, of course, you're David Harvey.

    Many of the issues discussed here are directly attributable to capitalism. You can talk about environmental degradation 'til the cowns come home, but broaching the subject of our society's economic and political structures and how these structures have impacted and caused environmental degradation is frowned upon.
