Whatever you do, don't discuss issues surrounding the geography of capitalism. If you do, you'll be targeted and ostracized. Unless, of course, you're David Harvey.
Many of the issues discussed here are directly attributable to capitalism. You can talk about environmental degradation 'til the cowns come home, but broaching the subject of our society's economic and political structures and how these structures have impacted and caused environmental degradation is frowned upon.
