On July 14th, 2011, Grover Norquist appeared on a CNBC panel with the Director for Tax and Budget Policy at the Center for American Progress and Rick Santelli to talk about higher taxes. They discussed Gallup polling and the middle class tax rates. Grover pointed out that the only way to fix our overspending problem is not to raise taxes but to cut spending.
Norquist is a fuckhead.

Agreed!...Grover's pledge should be ruled as unconstitutional as our elected officials took an oath to serve us, not Grover or his pledge. Wake up 99% and vote the pledge signers out of office...they are not representing you.

Hmm, Grover includes Obama's tax cuts in the deficit, while not saying how additional tax cuts would be paid for. Moreover, nobody cares what pledge anybody signed to Grover. They made an oath to the people to represent them, not Grover, and that includes fiscal responsibility.
Why does Grover think he can just sit there and lie, such as when he said the stimulus "killed 1.5M jobs" or that the Dems raised spending, when that spending includes Grover's favored tax cuts. Hypocrite? You betcha.
