I don't like put BBQ sauce on my ribs until I am ready to eat but those ribs look pretty dammed good may try it

Your video brought back so many old memories. I had a Weber for about twenty years. Moved to a gas grill back in the '90s and I have not seen any difference in flavor. Now I have added a smoker oven to my arsenal. I'm going to have to make a video about how I do back ribs sometime. Great video!

I tried this but with that many coals, your temperature would be extremely high. I have a kettle grill too and one basket got the heat up to 400 degrees.

@Antiks72 You have 2 vents in a Weber grill, one in the lid and in the kettle. Use those to regulate temperature accordingly. It takes a little time, effort and practice to get it right but it's worth the effort. Start with too few coals and you wind up restocking them too often.

What did you use to hold the woodchips?

@SniperWestOaks I soak the woodchips in water and wrap them into aluminum foil. Make sure you poke some holes into the bottom of the pack.
