I mean, I'm not a listener to secular music but as a guitar player, I have inspirations to very talented players like Hindrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Carlos Santana, and, of course, the greatest of all, Phil Keaggy! He's the best currently living and with only 9 1/2 fingers cuz of an accident at childhood...

When I was going through a really rough time and felt like giving up I heard this song and said to myself: This is not how I want my life to be. I don't want to drown in self pity and let this depression eat me alive just because something really bad happened. This song taught me that the only person who can make you happy is you. If you have a dream – go for it. If you want to change something about yourself - do it. If your life sucks – change it. Take control. This is YOUR life!
