My second attempt at timelapse video. It may be better to watch my first video before this one. This is the return journey.

I made a few changes to the settings, firstly this is a 2 second timelapse.

There was less compression to this video during conversion to avi. the pictures were still reduced to 30% of their original size though.

Overall i think this is quite impressive quality considering the extremely low light levels.

  • I've been having some pretty good results with sunsets and pit lane cameras (at car events). 5 seconds worked well for these. Ended up with over 1000 photos taken but ended up using a small portion (usually a timespan of approx 30mins). It's a great feature. Shame there's no built in monitor to speed up set-up. I'm plugging in a separate one.

  • @zed030979 Did you know you can now buy a clip on monitor for the back of the Go Pro. Have a look at their site for info. Andy.

  • @AndySV1K - Thanks for the response mate. I'm using the same setting for a shoot in a few days. The test I did this afternoon looked great when sped up 3x. People moving around were fantastic.

  • @zed030979 Best of luck with the shoot! I must try and do more with the time lapse function.

  • What settings!!! Every 2 secs? 5 secs?

  • @zed030979 - 2 seconds

  • Sweet! song?!

  • @AndySV1K - a question: how much shots without recharge battery? how much hard time the battery only making shots every 2 secs? And every 5? Thanks
