Sarah Watkins, of ADAPT of Texas in Austin, discusses why she came to DC this week to fight back against Medicaid cutbacks.

‎[Transcript of video:] "Hi, I'm Sarah, and I'm with ADAPT in Austin, Texas. It's raining right now, and you might think, "Why are we doing laps in the rain? You know, we could be hanging out somewhere and being dry!" But the reality is tha...t at the federal level and at the state level, all over the country, they're making cuts to services that so many folks need to get up and get out of bed and get on with their lives. And budgets are just really being balanced on the backs of people who can least afford to have these cuts being made. So I'm here defending my freedom, and I'm here defending freedom for all sorts of other folks in Texas who can't be here and can't be doing that. So: free our people!"
