I actually think we're saying the same thing in that regard.
We seem to diverge at the concept that Representatives speak for me, you, and us. That the system must be obeyed from "our" end even when it's not obeyed from "their" end. That they can acquire debt in our name and burden us with treaties and "laws" that are detrimental to the country and its people, and we must take one step forward while they push us two steps back .
We need a clean slate and to go back to square one.

@continuityofliberty Have you compleatly missed my comment about Jefferson's prediction of the necessity of common revolution? Or my reference to Thomas Paine's "Common Sense"?
Both comments were in my first reply

(cont)
"Odious debts, contracted and utilised for purposes which, to the lenders' knowledge, are contrary to the needs and the interests of the nation, are not binding on the nation -- when it succeeds in overthrowing the government that contracted them -- unless the debt is within the limits of real advantages that these debts might have afforded."

"The reason why these odious debts cannot attach to the territory of the state is that they do not fulfil one of the conditions determining the lawfulness of State debts, namely that State debts must be incurred, and the proceeds used, for the needs and in the interests of the State."
"The American People gave their word"
I never gave any such thing.
