  • Dave, couldn't the same priciples be used on the .410 cartridge, adding a couple more options? Such as the ability to shoot the 45 long Colt through it, as well as shoot arrows out of it in a pinch?

  • @gregoir oh yeah, besides the family history i got behind my H&R, there is something about that tough simplicity of those single shot break opens that you just gotta love. BTW, do not buy single shot Rossi guns!

  • I totally agree with 99% of the stuff you have ever said, in any media....but i would love to get ahold of some of the steel your knife is made out of, cause if you can only ever have to sharpen it once and hone it forever then that stuff defies science (And yes, i know the difference between honing and sharpening, but you can only hone for so long before your angles need to be re set by re profiling (sharpening)

  • @WatchRyder Yes it is. If you go to cowboy shooting matches I'm sure you will see people shooting black powder reloads. In a survival type situation that is how I would do it. Less hassle that way.

  • iris is on his finger

  • i watched this video about 5 weeks ago,i went and bought one in 20 gauge for rabbit hunting.i had all the stuff, been having a blast slaying rabbit.my buddies think its foolish but i call it fun

  • in this new configuration with the makeshift plug in the breech, can you now legally use this during muzzle loader season in Florida?

  • I learn from all your videos. Some are better than others and some have more info than others. This video is a true modern day survival tutorial of the highest quality, something EVERYONE should know and a real inspiration. Thank you again for all you do. Kudos and good luck in all your endeavors.

  • @SilntObsvr I was going to say the same thing regarding the powder/shot weight. 100 grains of shot like that is probably no more than a half-dozen of those pellets. I would be VERY careful ramming steel shot down a steel barrel (possibility of a spark) with a powder charge already in there. I would stick with lead. It think this entire idea is a great one though.
