Gro Hammerseng and Ane Stangeland Horpestad i OL-Quiz

Gro Hammerseng (Captain of Norway's Handball Nationalteam) and Ane Stangeland Horpestad (Captain of Norway's Football Nationalteam) were asked some questions about the Games 2008.

First the female reporter says that monday morning the football girls met with the handball team to do a boat trip. But because the Olympic Games are close, the reporters felt like it was time to test the Olympic knowledge of both teams.

Reporter: How many Olympic Games will
that be now in Bejing?
Gro: I have really no idea.
Ane: Pass.
Gro: Pass.
Reporter: The answer is number 29.
Gro: Okay.
Reporter: Approximately how many
participants will be in Bejing?
Gro: I have heard there will be about
10.000 in the Olympic village, but
there are probably also coaches, so...
8.005?
Ane: My bet is 12.000.
Reporter: The correct answer is 10.000
to 12.000. One point for the
footballgirls. What is the name of the
national arena in Bejing?
Ane: Olympic... eh
Gro: "Marit, can you get Karo to stand
here" (beside her)
Ane: Wait, this is cheating.
Gro tells Karo the question
Karo: Is it "bird's nest"?
Gro: Yes, we say "bird's nest".
Reporter: "Bird's nest", you're well
informed.
Ane is ranting about the cheating of the handball girls and demands to get some help as well and calls two of her teammates. Gro tells Ane's teammates that they would be needed for a second competition, this time in cheating and admits that she and Karo got the point through cheating.
Reporter: How many Olympic gold medals
does Bjørn Dæhlie have?
Gro: Five.
Ane: Six.
Reporter: The right answer is nine.
Ane: "I was closest [to the right
number]"
Reporter: What do the Olympic rings symbolize?
Gro: Ohhhh...
Karo: All of the world's...
Ane: The five continents.
Reporter: That is correct.
Football team: Yeahhhh!!!!
Reporter: The football girls won.

First, Gro and Karo claim that they would have given the same answer. In fact Gro gives Karo the credit for it. Both Ane and Gro seem to be pretty excited about the idea of doing more quizzes on the boat and Gro strongly believes in a victory once she'd have her whole team as support.

Some quotes from that passage:
Gro about quiz on the boat: "Poor those who get to be on my team" and "If I can choose, I will choose you [Ane], or your assistants"
