@rogatto1 stop listening to government funded propaganda and open your eyes. It doesn't take an environmental engineer to see china has very abusive pollution issues that it is now exporting across the globe. If china really wants to be the new leader of the world then its should learn take responsiblity for its actions and factor the environment into its rise to power. What good is it being a wealthy and powerful country when you lack the clean air and safe drinking water to live there?
I don't understand the part 0:31. By 2004, the number hit one million, with sixteen million cars on China'r road. How come there are 16 million cars on China's road, if the passenger number is 1 million?
My English is not really good, so i need an explanation. Anyone mind to explain?
These pics do absolutely no justice to what is really happening underneath the glowing surface. Most of the cities are getting worse i sensed and the countryside, like always since the CCP's history, is left to foot the bill, first economically and now environmentally. I've traveled within the countryside throughout 8 provinces and the things i've seen made me ball my eyes out many times over.
People in mainland China are intentionally cut off from this kind of information due to fear of severe social unrest. I lived there for over 5 years studying the language.
They're good people. But that 'government' is pure Evil. Yes, definitely more evil than ours. So many STRANGERS i met want to voice their concerns but are so frightened that they'll be eaten alive by the state.
Yeah, the sheer scale of the environmental disaster in China is frightening, many (most?) rivers in the north have been little more than an embarrassing sludge for years...many have disappeared altogether...dust is everywhere and yet the cement factories and coal industry continue to pump more filth into the air...don't look into this too deeply, you'll quickly get depressed!!

I think the music fit perfectly. It truly communicated the devastation facing China and our world. Thanks for making me aware.
