That second song has a RAD intro. I wish people would put away the concept that 311 are sellouts, or that Bob Rock ruined them. There were tons of people who said 311 were sellouts when the blue album went multi platinum. Wow, a band that's actually good made it big? Let's celebrate that rare occasion. When I'm 77 and 311's dying off at 90, I'll still love em.

I mean this is decent but i wish i could hear something like brodels or hive anyone agree?! This sounds like songs from their from chaos album. They need to make a decent not necessarily heavy but like the old days type of rock song that they have made before. Something that really jams and the lyrics flow. Uplifter i will say like many others was a downlifter hahadon't tread on me was ehhhh like 3 good songs. Im down with some of the "new" 311 but please give us some of the "old" too please!!!!

I've been a fan since the beginning. And I'll agree that the newer stuff is pretty poppy. But at the same time, it's still ten times better than most shit on the radio today. And I'm a glass half-full type guy, so their positive sound and lyrics still resonate well with me. If I'm in the mood for something heavy (not usually the case), I listen to metal.

This album is shaping up to be brilliant. 8 songs.. but if they all are of the quality of Sunset, Wild Nights and Time Bomb... I'm in love. Brings be back to the good ol' days!! I love 311 so much!!!
