pilot91: Younger people can speak English but the elder only German. And there are many people whod on't speak foreign languages at all, for example, in supermarkets, post offices etc. So if you speak English is OK but I think you should learn a bit Hungarian too (the most important words, sentences)

A lovely country oversubscribed with foolishly (and wrongly) nationalistic people..
Even when foriegn people try to complement Hungary it gets taken in the wrong spirit...
It will never change sadly.
