Dear cindyshealed: It's a mystery. I think Paul may have seen him on a monitor as they came in the arena. Caleb always has his Paul McCartney doll in hand. As they settled into their nosebleed seats, his mom took him to get water & a rep from Paul came up to them, told them they had front row seats, & put green wrist bands on them. They were totally shocked! Parents didn't tell Caleb they were driving to Las Vegas for the show! He was blown away when they got to the MGM Grand...then this!
Dear cindyshealed:Caleb, has been interested in the arts since he was 2,when, he accidentally found the MONA LISA online & became obsessed! Friends have given him books on Leonardo da Vinci & the other classical painters. He badly wants to visit the Louvre to see the MONA LISA! Since then, he's obsessed with the Beatles & his parents got nosebleed seats at the last minute for his 5th birthday. Paul comped him front row seats! After the concert, the drummer gave him his signed drumstick! Miracle
Dear kgordonfrancis: I really appreciate your comments about my grandson, Caleb, & his dad, Carlos. His mom, Heather, is right next to Carlos. Yes, it was a once in a lifetime experience & I'm so glad you got to see Paul after 46 years! I was growing up in a small Mid-Western town & had not even a remote possibility to attend a live Beatles concert in '65. Nice how the big reward comes later in life!!
We were in the 2nd row mostly watching Paul of course, but, from time to time, I took my eyes off of Paul to watch Caleb bouncing up and down in his dad's arms. Caleb was TOTALLY engrossed from the minute the concert started until the end. The concert was a once in a lifetime amazing experience for me. I had a ticket for Shea Stadium in '65 but my mother (rip) wouldn't let me go because I was too young! It was worth the wait to see Sir Paul up front close. Huge thanks to you, Roger!!!
i was in the very very back of this concert, but it was so worth it! i took videos but of course the quality was bad. thanks for the upload! :) Long live paul!
Caleb is so sweet! Bless his little heart! :)
