After drinking Diet Pepsi back in 1995, my life changed. The aspartame wreaked havoc on my digestive tract. Last year August 2010 I had a total colectomy. Please stay away from diet sweeteners. I thought I was invincible at age 33 but thanks for Donald Rumsfled, Ronald Reagan, and the FDA approval of aspartame, they proved me wrong. Now I'm disabled.
