Brazilian Air Force at Red Flag 2008

Red Flag 2008, a video display from the F-5BR from the Brazilian Air Force. The F-5BR is an updated military jet fighter. Brazilian Pilots are very well known for their skills and excellent capabilities. The F-5BR is now armed with Derby BVR missiles, Python IV, lizard laser guided bombs, MAR-1 Anti-radar missiles. The F-5Br got the same kill rate of a USAF f-15 air supperiority squadron against the Aggressors in the Red Flag even in 2008.

Any updates on the Brazilian FX fighter competition? All I know is that the Gripen and the Rafale were shortlisted. I hope the Rafale wins as a lot of the Gripens main components come from the USA and are subject to sanctions.

KC-137 wasn't downed a single time in this exercise. For each brazilian pilot downed, two american pilots (yeah, the agressors) were downed by brazilian pilots.

I didn't know they flew there in 2008. That was the infamous year MKI and Rafale showed up. It must be a different set of exercises because Brasil wasn't in that one.

O Rafale eh mto caro e o Wikileaks mostrou q tbm tem dependencia americana.

O F-18 tbm eh caro e nao tem um prego d transferencia tecnologica.

O Gripen eh barato .40% vai ser produzido no Brasil. E eh tao agil quanto o rafale.

Mas nem adinta pq a verba para as Forças Armadas foi cortada ridicularmente.
