That guy is not just an item, he's a person - and I'm sure he'd prefer to have asked Romney without wheelchair and not being dependent on a wheelchair due to lack of muscles and a deadly sickness.

There is a second confrontation with a higher distance between them though. Romney on stage and Clayton in the audience.

IT is a very challenging situation, but IMO that test can't hurt for somebody who wants a lot of responsibility.

But your Obama point is good, being able to deal with situations verbally is surely not the only qualification a president needs. Actions count too.

When I first saw Obama I immediately could tell from his charisma and the way he talked about "change" that he's just a "pop star", but won't really bring change to the system.
