*Nick's POV*
Soon, class was over. Then the rest of the day went on.
3 words.
Boring as hell.
I was now packing my bags and heading home.
"Nick! Football!" Joe yelled from behind.
Damn, I forgot. I didn't feel like seeing Eliza again so I just ignored and went home.
"Hey Kevin." I said as I hung my jacket.
"How was school?" He asked.
"Same as everyday. Watching Joe make out with Lexy. Yeah, pretty much the same." I rolled my eyes and grabbed a diet coke.
"Wait, aren't you supposed to be at football practice?" He asked.
"Yeah, but I didn't feel like seeing Eliza so I skipped." I gave him an innocent look. He always tried to make me the successful brother because.... that couldn't go to Joe now.
"Nick, you have a big game next week."
"It's one practice. Chill out."
"Okay, what's really on your mind?" He asked.
"A lot of things." I sighed.
"Would one of those things be Lexy?" My eyes grew big.
"What? Her? Psh, no. I've never even liked her." I lied.
"Nick... I don't believe that but I'll let it go. For now that is." I sighed of relief as Kevin walked away. Truth is, she's been on my mind ever since I found out Joe was dating her.
Our secret is to be kept and washed away for good. No one knows except me and her.
