This table discusses the various definitions of greywater and its impact on regulations; regulatory issues concerning indoor water reuse, including avoid¬ance of cross contamination and health and safety issues; the various types and composition (pathogens and particulates and pH from cleaners) of greywater by its source and its impact and health and safety; treatment alterna¬tives; and other emerging technologies. Specifically, the presentation focuses on WaterSaver Technologies water conservation system, The AQUS®, which is based upon the premise that using fresh water to flush a toilet is unnecessary and wasteful.
