top up tv is crap. the box was poor quality. my house had 30ft trees right in front so we couldn't get sky coz the trees blocked the signal. ended up getting top up tv. you cant choose what gets downloaded. having a load of cartoons is fine but POINTLESS if you have no kids. the box kept freezing and that goddamn amber light pissed me off big time. thankfully, the trees were cut down and was on the phone to sky in seconds! no complaints with sky at all. top up has crap customer service too

i find tutv a load of crap, knackered boxes, bad software updates, fan and disk allways spinning in standby, no hd, tutv is way behind now with no hd boxes released.all your paying for is to watch downloaded stuff that is already available elsewhere for free.With top up tv only having 3 anytime streams now and 2 live channels its only a matter of time before top up tv becomes times up tv and goes bust! :-)

I find TUTV ok for less than a tenner a month you get a good choice of progs, OK Sky has hundreds of programmes but how many do you really watch? Knitting for roller skaters anyone?

Seriously, who on earth would pay out for this pile of pants? A tenner or so a month to get a lucky dip of a few ropey shows from a handfull of 3rd rate channels. And then there's also that BT Vision thing, where you pay to watch Freeview. The sales men & women must nearly wet themselves with laughter whenever they sign someone up.

I cancelled because the salesman LIED, saying "Free Trial starts when the card is inserted into the box. I never used it, yet 2 weeks later I got a letter stating an initial payment would be taken in 2 weeks.

I phoned in to cancel my account and was also offered a £9.99 credit by Amber (1326) to cover phone calls to the 0870 number and inconvenience caused. She never asked for my card. Yet I have been charged since, they wanted my card back, yet still have not had a refund.

Thanks to another shit software update, most of the Thomson dti6300 boxes were rendered useless on Sunday 3/5/09.

TopupTV say that the only way to the get the box working again is to reformat the harddrive & lose all of the programs that you`ve paid for!

A software revert got my box working but no doubt the harddrive will have to be reformatted when it re-downloads the latest software.

I jsut use the TUTV card to cut heroine... This is much better for your health than paying £10 a month for the biggest bag of clank known to man!

I thought Skywas a rip off but this takes the proverbial biscuit!

Top Up Tv Anytime, I wouldn't waste my money on it again, too many faults with the box for too high a price, and I seem to be replacing the box year after year, what a rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
