I will concede you that point about being a breeding ground. But that is why we need to leave IRAQ with a strong government and economy. After all, you are less likely to become a terrorist if you have a job and can feed your family.

Iran unlike Iraq is a homogeneous country. There wouldn't be a civil war. Just a war against the country that brought down the elected government. (Yes they have elections.)
Iraq is not just attracting the terrorists we have. It is the perfect breeding ground for thousands more.

No I care but I didn't understand why you bring the external issues into my comment about the long term interest of the united states. The Marines are not the ones killing civilians over there so that really cannot be on us. Our men have died with them.

The false pretence was just an excuse for the real issue. IRAN is the country we had to worry about but we would have lost many more troops if we attached IRAN. In addition, being in IRAQ attracted the terrorist there instead of here. Also, IRAQ will prove to be a successfull and prosperous Alli and trading partner in the middle east.

I mean you are talking wishful thinking. There won't be a stable iraq for a long time and the presence of the US troops in their holy land isn't helping.
Now we should start thinking about why we don't recieve oil from iraq anymor. It is because the government decided to invade under false pretences. Get the people responsible for the bullshit that lead to war and put them to justice.
