The horrors "my" church has done, from the Crusades to the Inquisition to decades of ignoring their pedophile priests...it makes me sick. TBH, I really don't go to mass much because of it, but that's man's invention and too often they try to make their needs moreso than God's. Pray for the church? I'll pray for them to clean up their acts...! I'll pray for child molesting sickos to go to prison!! I won't pray for them to keep making money when they have too much already, either.

Eh, he makes a little sense. No way of telling for sure but many Atheists simply don't care about spirituality. Not talkin' the angsty teenagers here, but true Atheists. Just like true Christians don't commit or condone the many atrocities done by the church over the years.

Can't compare the good of one crowd to the bad of another crowd and call it fair. Also, I really hope your conversations with Atheists haven't been mostly on Youtube because this shit brings out the worst in us all.

All I said was that most Atheists are quiet about their Atheism... that you've likely talked to many Atheists whom you never knew were Atheist because it's a non-topic for them. I in no way insinuated that you were the problem; only that when someone is out-spoken about it, they're usually responding to something idiotic. That being said - given the intellectual cleverness of your response; you may very well be the catalyst for mutual hostility.
