@AnimalzCryToo yeah, i understand that you found that horrible because seeing any animal getting killed is horrible, but i am icelandic and i dont find killing whales and seeing fishermen cutting whale disturbing..i guess im just used to it. But fin there are 30.000 fin whales around Iceland, yes they are endangered but Iceland was ordered by law to only hunt 9 a year and that is great that we were ordered only to hunt certain amount of whale cus we tend to overfish.

@hanahbanana95 I understand what you mean but at the same time these are endangered whales. Endangered. We can't keep killing endangered whales to feed people. I don't wanna sound heartless but there are way more humans on the earth then whales. Whales can't fend for themselves when it comes to humans. Whales don't have to be the ones suffering. We kill poultry and farm animals why can't we stick to that instead of killing animals that aren't supposed to be killed.

okay i dont agree with killing animals for no good reason... but we dont even know who these whales are going to. they might be going to starving people or people who need to make money. so its okay for us to kill and slaughter cows and chickens and pigs... but when other people are getting food or whatever they get from animals, its a huge deal.?

"The most recent (2001) estimate of abundance of fin whales for the area off west Iceland (the East Greenland Iceland stock) was 25,800 (approx 95% confidence intervals of 20,200 - 33,000). This abundance estimate was first agreed at a joint NAMMCO/IWC Workshop in early 2006 and confirmed by the IWC Scientific Committee at its Annual Meeting in 2006."
It's not even endangered in that part of the world.
