This video shows the first milling test run of our 3-axis milling machine made in a student project at Lund University, Sweden. The project was about to design and build a machine that actually works and was supervised by Dr Giorgos Nikoleris, at the Dept of Design Sciences (Division of Machine Design). The intention now is to use the CNC milling machine in the workshop used by industrial design, technical design and architecture students in making models in "soft" materials for model making including cibatol, wood, plastics and aluminium.

The machine is still under development but fully operational. It undergo a major upgrade with new controller and spindle and should work in September 2010. Located at IKDC and can be used by student work for both industrial design and "Technical design", under some supervision.
