Not bad for not being able to see the target; I could only see the log it was sitting on, and really not all that well. I thought I would see it a lot better than I did. I think in order for me to hit it I'll need to use the cross background. I really don't like using that so tomorrow i will try a 6 inch wide jug on its side so I can only see the bottom. That should be a lot easier to see.
I think I got fixated on the log, I think it was all I could see.
Odd how I like this shooting session more than the last, though I hit the bull last time yet missed the whole target this time. I think my priorities are a little skewed.
I really don't know where the bullet hits but it looks as if it hits the log about mid level and a little right. After the hit, something dark falls from above that point. The more I look at it, the more I think it hit center about 4 inches from the top of the log then something light colored falls from the hit.
I think you can see the bullet so well because the sun is shining off of the back of it. The sun was over my left shoulder and the camera to the right of me.
I'm going to try again tomorrow at the same time or a little earlier, I just might try the 357 also to see what the trajectory is like with it.
are those flextips the lever evolution series?

@outdoorsisbest They are Hornady 160gr FTX, (flextip.) It gives you a lot more distance, energy-wise. I really should only use these.
