  • You are correct Gonzoidzz. This was recorded in 1977, I was 21. Wrote it when I was 19 (first song I ever wrote). I was/am a HUGE Joe Walsh fan & its pretty obvious from the solo, but there also some Jimmy page sprinkled in there too............Good guys to be influenced by........

  • @mchatfield74 hi from ireland mark , been a godz fan since 78 ! my fave godz stuff is the live at the agora cleveland 79 .your guitar playing on it is magic !!

any chance the rosie stuff will be made available ?

  • @mchatfield74 Love this song man. Always have! Brings back good times we all had growing up. Peace.

I bought this album when it came out, I think it was produced by Don Brewer? I was the only GFR fan in my town (they weren't a big band in the UK), and no-one else had ever heard of The Godz. - 35 years later my band are playing this song in bars in south England!

  • ac/dc slightly ripped this off for you shook me, lol. Admit it guys!

  • @mchatfield74 Ive always felt your style and sound was your own. As I commented 2 yrs ago Cross Country is a masterpiece. The solo you created here is one of the best! In terms of feel and emotional impact, it delivers!

It reminds me of the majic Paul Kossoff achieved on his Alright now solo or the majic the Outlaws achieved on Green Grass & High Tides live version from Bring'em Back Alive. You did some incredible work with your sound and style on both Godz Albums. In fact the whole band did..
