i have this board and its poorly manufactured, the thermal paste on the north and south bridge is mixed with glue, therefore giving bad idle temps. had to remove and replace the thermal paste, temps dropped about 10C after replacing thermal paste.

FYI the Asus Rampage II Extreme Motherboard can not do 3 way sli if the graphic cards are dual slot card because the the connectors below the third graphic card slot would prevent you from installing the third graphic card
