What radio system are you using?

@jimmytechnologies A Graupner MC-19, but a regular FM rc unit will work just as well. The new 2.4 GHz gear won't work underwater though.

@Wheelerdealer1 thanks. What depth versus range do you expect to reliably get with that radio, and do you have an auto-surfacing feature incase of signal loss? Have you considered setting up a video link from the model?

@jimmytechnologies radio reception is around 25 feet in fresh water, but you won't dee down that far outside a fiving pool. It has loss is signal, depth and leak failsafes. Video devotion is around 3 feet with 1.2 GHz transmitters and to get any sort of useful visual range for FPV, you need very clear water. Check out my other videos for onboard video.
