A Toot and a Snore in '74 is a rare bootleg album of the one and only jam session in which John Lennon and Paul McCartney played together after the break-up of the Beatles. They were joined by Stevie Wonder, Harry Nilsson, Jesse Ed Davis, May Pang, Bobby Keys and producer Ed Freeman for an impromptu jam session. What followed was not very productive. Lennon sounds to be on cocaine—he can be heard offering Wonder a snort on the first track, and on the fifth, asks someone to give him a snort. This is also the origin of the album name, where John Lennon clearly asks: "You wanna snort, Steve? A toot? It's goin' round."

  • @TullioWalker Once again, you are proved yourself to be a moron and someone who has a horrible ear for music/voices. This is definitely Lennon and McCartney's jam from 74' and you're a fool for stating otherwise.

  • @TullioWalker ACTUALLY ANALOG QUARTER INCH TAPE is still A HIGH STANDARD in the recording industry - THE HIGH END ARTISTS mix A MASTER IN quarter inch tape even to this day

  • All Beatles fans know that Paul was incredibly busy in 1974 with his Wings tour to promote Band On The Run. They made two TV shows and many concerts. Paul was finally establishing himself as a solo performer. Became free of the image of being a former Beatle. Obviously, the last thing he wanted was to make a reunion. Furthermore, relations were still cold, because the legal process of dissolution of the Beatles was only finished in 1975.

  • As I said, this is fake. That voice is not John (rsrsrs). Good try and good imitators. Plus voice editing. This story has been taken as fake by many people. John and Paul was not talking to each other in mid 70's due to Apple issues ended only in 1975. Sound quality here is very digital to be true in 1974. Recordings were made in tape not digital in 1974. This is a digital recording, did you notice?. Tape doesn't have wide frequency range as digital. Not nocking your video, just a touch.

  • @Marshallsg Little Bitty Pretty One

  • What's the song they play at about 1:20.

  • Love it. John's describing the miseries of "jamming" just as I experience them. Nobody knows when to change, nobody knows the songs you know and vice/versa. "Something from the 50's, no later than '63 or nobody's gonna know it." I love it.

  • why is john the only one you can hear?

  • fuck me! I cant believe what I'm hearing

  • Rare stuff, thanks a lot!
