Apparently, there's actually going to be a North American version of Death Note and there are rumours that they want Zac Efron to play Light. This skit is mentioning it and making fun of it.

Wow. That Zac Efron as Light thing was weird. Granted, I will admit that he CAN act. It's just a question of can he do the part justice. If he can, I kind of hope he gets the role just so all his crazy pre teen fan girls who don't watch anime go to see the movie. Hopefully, they know little about the plot and then get freaked out by him being all crazy. That would be AWESOME!!!!
