A young woman willingly takes a stand for her faith and challenges the Roman Empire.

THE STORY OF SAINT PERPETUA -
Suspenseful! Moving! Inspiring!

Born to a noble Roman family, Perpetua converts to Christianity when she is irresistibly drawn to the example of unselfish love and service that she witnesses in the local believers. Along with slaves, Felicity and Revocutus, she makes her way to a secret gathering of the Church unaware that the Emperor Septimius Severus has issued a decree prohibiting new conversions to Christianity.

Arrested and tried, Perpetua, Felicity and their companions take a valiant stand that echoes down through the centuries.

  • @jonijana Gee, it does make me wonder why her writings and everything about her is in the Roman Catholic Church. One question, who founded your sect?

  • @paqolp Luther's rebellion?? make it better Luther back to scripture when the one time, true church left the real gospel for a false religion base on what men said instead in what the Biblie says, becoming christianity into a religion of idols like the ones Perpetua did'n want to worship. Please read Ex. 20, Deutoronomy better the whole Biblie! if numbers and history are signs that God is in your side, maybe the muslims can say the same?

  • @gorjussxxxx Then it is funny why the Catholic Church is in possession of her diary and why she is one of many patron Saints in the Catholic Church. You should know that prior to Luther's protest and rebellion of the True Faith there were only Catholics from the West and from the East, and even today eastern Catholics know that there is only one Church of Christ, the One True Holy Apostolic Catholic Church.

  • @PhotoFilmEffect Protestants exist only because of Luther's rebellion, prior to Luther and even after all protestants vanish from earth the One True Church founded by Jesus Christ, His Holy Catholic Church will remain strong. History, truth and God Almighty are on our side. Also you should know that Saint Perpetua was declared a Saint by a Pope, and if it wasn't because of the Catholic Church you would have never even get to know about her.

  • @PhotoFilmEffect what was the first christian denomination???? let me look it up..... its catholicism, in her time the only christians were catholics learn some history

  • I'm sorry, but Perpetua was not catholic she believed in Jesus as our savior. You're presenting her wrong.
