They didn't have reviews back in Chrono Trigger's time. However, if you go to gamespot and type in Chrono Trigger reviews, you will see it has been inducted into the greatest games of all time, something Cross has yet to achieve. IGN also rates Trigger as the second greatest game ever made, after Zelda OOT. Cross isn't even in the top 100 list on IGN.

Chrono Cross was ok. It just focused to much on Schala who wasn't that big of a character in Chrono Trigger. Cross chould have focused more on the main characters from Trigger(Crono,Marle,Magus,etc.
). -
i like both games, but come on nothing can compete with the original chrono triger. chrono cross is just to different for my taste >..<

I agree. That is why I am not comparing them. I think they are both good and I would play them so many times and never get bored.
