  • Mmmmm...IPA......looks good man. Does that stick-on thermo work very well? Also, when do you transfer to secondary? I am on my 9th beer and finally going to try out a secondary before bottling. She's still bubbling in the airlock every 5-10 seconds so I'm assuming I need to wait till it's a min in between???

  • The stick on works "ok" it just gives me an idea of what the temp is.

Use a hyrdrometer to determine when it's ready to move. Bubbles are not an indication that fermentation is or is not complete.

  • Boy your beer sure is making a weird noise.

  • @sb50ct i kinda stick to the rule of 10 days till i bottle and i just move to a secondary a couple of days before i bottle

  • so what reading should you have on the hydrometer to indicate that you can re-rack?
