Sen. Rand Paul's endorsement of the presumed 2012 Republican presidential nominee was done precisely to advance his father's movement.

He did not endorse Romney OVER his father, he was forced to in order to tie himself to party support. Come on, we don't need more idealogical martyrs, we need change.

You're giving the Republican party was too much credit, if they had any principles they wouldn't have nominated Mitt Romney in the first place considering his record is of a moderate liberal. I'm not against compromise, I'm just against evil. And the Republican party right now is evil.

The history of America is standing up for liberty, Mitt Romney has proven again and again he is against liberty. Supporting Romney is supporting evil, don't kid yourself into thinking it's a "compromise"

Imagine if Ron had become President. Do you honestly think that dent would have not been much larger? Rand is simply going about it more smart than his father. In order to get who we NEED in the White House you HAVE to play politics. Our nation is being ruined and I have no problem with Rand doing whatever he has to to become president because we seriously need him or someone like him there.

What I see is Rand not being a man of principle as his father. I don't see it as a compromise, but rather a surrender.

Rand has consistently stated that he is a 'constitutional conservative' in contrast to his father. The topics he addresses in speeches such as government spending priorities are moot and trivial to a libertarian. Besides, why play politics to advance liberty when Ron has proved you can make a huge dent w/o playing politics. Besides, it's important to ask what message we are sending. If Rand were libertarian, an endorsement of Romney means endorsement of Mitt's policies - a vote for evil.

Ron Paul never conceded to begin with.., secondly Rand supported Romney,( to my best recollection) even before his dad stop campaigning for the popular vote and only focused on delegates. In the end Rand's still a POS in mah book, unless you can prove otherwise..thank you. If you can supply links to prove otherwise, it would be greatly appreciated =]

I'm only misinterpreting the situation in your opinion though. What you're basically saying is your opinion is more valid than mine. I'll make you a deal, the day Rand gets the GOP nomination I'll take it down. Don't hold your breath.

You are misinterpreting the situation and your comment is the first thing people see when they see this video- I simply requested that you remove it out of the goodness of your heart. I'm going to stop messaging you because I doubt either of us will change our views on the matter- but Rand Paul is the only practical/possible embodiment of libertarianism in a bipartisan government and endorsing Romney was a choice that Ron Paul, who was already out of the race when he endorsed mitt, supports.
