Bonin didn't have the necessary skills to control the aircraft under the certain circumstances. Adding to this problem - there wasn't great communication in the cockpit between the two lesser experienced pilots (the captain was taking a nap when the situation unfolded).
Co-pilot Bonin was pulling back on his stick almost the whole time and the two other pilots didn't know this. And Airbus' asynchronous control system is independent and doesn't alert the other pilots about this.

What really happened is that the crew allowed a collegue without any experience to handle a transcontinental flight, and did hardly anything to prevent the aircraft from crashing. If this very crew had done the same manoeuvers with a tupolev tu-154, the aircraft would have disintegrated itself in mid air, according to experts. This is absolutely unacceptable from a world class airline.

@catworship1 yup but boeing plane hav been hijack by terrorist quite a number of time but most accident is not done by the design or structural failure of the plane but the skill of the pilot .
