I am a successful HHO experimenter (minimum 25% mileage improvement), so I'm definitely sympathetic. But this experiment is meaningless. The errors in gas fill are much bigger than 1/2 gallon. To show anything you need to have a controlled methodology for filling as well as a much longer trip. A 300 mile round trip with controlled fills would have some meaning, not this. You must fill at the same pump start and finish, and the trip must be ended where it began to avoid any downhill bias.
