Soukyugurentai (Sega Saturn) - level 6 and credits

One of the best shmups for the Saturn! Besides it's amazing graphics and great gameplay, if you play long enough you will unlock a special option menu that allows you to have extra lives, bombs, credits, and gives you the option to shoot and lock at the same time (normally you can only do one at a time).

So I decided to beat the game using these extras because it's a lot of fun to just destroy everything.

I know your comment is 6 months old, but I know that there is one in the Playstation version.

I've seen some pictures of the extra stage's boss, which is a HUGE space cannon. I haven't seen it in action, but from what I've seen, there's a timer during the fight. Apparently, you have to destroy it before time runs out, or else it apparently fires a superlaser, resulting in an instant game over. And you have to fight enemies while trying to destroy the boss.
