God always knows what's better for you than you could want for yourself, as Elevation Church Senior Pastor Steven Furtick says in a special message at NewSpring Church.

  • Because the man is not quoting the Bible word for word he isn't speaking Truth? Because he uses analogy? I know another person who spoke in analogy and metaphor in order to reach people on a more practical level. What was his name? Oh right, it was Jesus. Your Lord and savior, the God of the universe. It's called parable, and the Gospel is full of them. God bless you Steven Furtick.

  • @leejotkjka ... How is it that you figure he's not preaching bibically? And that his analogies don't make sense. ? seriously.. go watch how Elevation church got started. They made a documentary. THen maybe next time, you won't be so ignorant before knowing the real truth

  • I stopped reading youtube comments on Christian videos, keyboard warriors ><

  • @JogaHenryBonito Awesome comment Amen Brother

  • @philliplovelady Being with Christ and getting to know Him is the greatest joy a human being can receive. Just loving someone like Christ and that sense of belonging is what ppl desire. You don't need all this stuff that will appeal to ppl's flesh. I'm a 19 yr old black dude from Canada, and I've come to realize that more than clubs, music, and girls only Jesus will satisfy. So we don't need to make Christian clubs. We need to love ppl truly and spend time together and in the Word.

  • @philliplovelady I believe that if they are young, they should be spoken to in a way they can relate. But in youth groups and churches all across america, ppl are replacing communication with conformation. They are appealing to the flesh to bring kids to Christ. And when something goes wrong, they bounce ship. Why? Cuz they were appealing to their flesh and not building there Spirit, so when the storm came they were destroyed. I've seen this happen to my best friend.

  • @philliplovelady I understood what my brother was saying. Some ppl may think of it like, "Oh I missed out on this job, because God has another job with higher wage waiting for me." That's not what he meant at all. God could get you to miss out on a job, because He would get you to go to India and devout your life to missions work. Even though the discomfort is great, us fulfilling the Great Commission is good for us as well as better than staying here in luxury.

  • @westchesterexpress03 - You are missing the point. NOWHERE in scripture did Christ or Paul ever command the Church to be an exculsive club for hiptser young people. The Bible does say that the Church is for all of His People. The Church is for young, old, and in between. I stand by my statement. He will be ashamed 20 years from now. You are obviously an Arminianist & believe that it is the duty of man to bring someone to Christ. It is the duty of the Pastor to offer the Gospel & teach the Gospel

  • @philliplovelady you are missing the POINT, he is this way because he is trying to reach young people. When I visited my brother in NC I went to one of his services, 75% of the people there are middle school and high school kids. It doesn't matter how you get to them as long as you do and help them make good decisions.

  • These hipster pastors are going to look back at themselves & realize that they looked just as goofy as televangelist.

    Nice Fo-hawk.....Pastor...

  • NES was a 8-bit console.

    But yeah I agree.

  • I needed this today thank you
