  • sounds okinawan

  • @joeykamiya thanx for that history bit

  • Is this supposed to be the Migrant Workers song? I've heard this tune or a similar version of it in one of Kenji Fukusaku's films

  • Love this :)

  • It's a sanshin, not a shamisen.

  • shes well studied in her craft. very nice

  • Ryuichi Sakamoto's record from the 90's uses a lot of traditional Japanese music combined with funk and electronic sounds.....perhaps those Japanese elements are from Okinawa?

  • @AvantiVideo I agree with both opinions

  • "Okinawa was once an independent nation known as the Kingdom of the Ryukyu Islands. However, in 1609 Okinawa was CONQUERED BY FORCE AND OCCUPIED by the Japanese clan Satsuma. Yet they remained the Kingdom of the Ryukyu Islands until the Meiji Restoration took place and formed the Government of Japan. In 1879 the islands were officially recognized as the Japanese prefecture, Okinawa."

...and, just out of curiosity, why the fuck are "hot," "nude," and "strippers" used as tags for this video??

  • yani diyor ki kimono aldım arşını 5 kuruştan
