God, I love Greg's reviews and I don't know why.

Fun Fact: This was never a Silent Hill game. I was made to be a completely other game on it's own. Half way through development, Konami decided to slap Silent Hill on the title and mention Silent Hill a few times throughout the game. If you're a hard core Silent Hill fan and you're going to get this or something, pretend it's not a Silent Hill game. It's much easier to enjoy. Also, I am completely out of characters from typing this entire thing...

@TheBlacKoopa actually, it was supposed to be a silent hill game of sorts, but not a main series silent hill game. it's a side story about a defected order member named walter sullivan, who is trying to preform the 21 sacrements ritual. he brings the otherworld and the cult influence with him, into the neighboring town in which he resides.

to, not two. Anyway, Jimmy stone, who was a member of the Valtiel Sect ( cult from the third game) was killed by Watler, and Sect of the Holy Mother, another sect from the Order, are in both titles. So, no, it's not a rumor.

This was, in fact, supposed to be a Silent Hill title. That's just a rumor. You have numerous ideas connecting this two the second installment, from a newspaper, a hole comment, James' father. It's basically a side-story of the second game. It does the same thing as the second one by going into the depths of a disturbed individuals psyche and uncovering who that person trulyis. This is not a mere conicidence. It was thought out to fit with the second game.

I actually loved this one. Though Silent Hill 2 will always be my favourite, how the game is seperated into 'levels', all leading up to the big reveal, I just loved it. The navigation seemed much... cleaner, I should say.
