thanks Travis. Yes, drive and passion only go so far....I wish that was all anyone needed to "make it." But it's the "working your ass off" part that is the reality. I try not to be a downer about the "reality" in my Musecasts and try rather to lead by example, but dang, I was EXHAUSTED after this weekend of serving cocktails and kind of wanted to crawl into a hole....ahhh, the life of an actor ;) xoxox Hels

It is such a joy to watch your journey!
It's so important, I think, for people to see how much work and blood, sweat & tears go into trying to make an acting career. You, in particular, are a great example of how difficult it can be even with the passion and drive and effort. It's so rare for anyone to realize what they're getting into when they decide to move to Hollywood...
You're amazing. :-)

crap, i hope I didn't give the wrong impression. I didn't mean "career" as in "if you could call it that"....i meant for acting to stand apart as my actual career versus waiting tables which is totally not my actual career....hmm....I guess the quotation marks kind of gave the impression of the opposite or something.....anyhoo.... xoxox H

One of my favorite episodes of yours, Helenna. Not really sure why.
I love that you "borrowed" the viewer question thing from me, just like I "borrowed" it from Travis. I've always thought that should be a big part of the Musecast: the interactive possibilities.
Sorry about "In the Motherhood." Do you have a copy of it, by chance? Or can you maybe get one?
Lastly, is it not episode 37? I thought it was.

p.s. I used to sing songs from "Alice Through the Looking Glass" around the house when I was little...for hours....i think i probably drove my parents crazy ;)
