Hi everyone,

(*) Just a little update on James:
He's participating in a piano competition called Kiwanis, and he has to practice his classical pieces that his teacher assigned him. I on the other hand decided not to do it this year.

Anyways, I present to you "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey. This song is all done by ear and is dedicated to one of my friends that really loves this band.

I hoep you enjoy and look forward to our upcoming videos!

  • @Masterquan94 Not hatin, helpin:)

  • @eleoele1 I don't mind receiving help. But if it's just a little thing about how I play, then it's trivial since different people have different play styles. Of course I guess technically speaking, you generally shouldn't lift your hand off the keys much, but when the left hand part is so simple, it doesn't hurt.

  • @Animexduo It isn't trivial simply because it is distracting, it makes me focus on your hands rather than the music you make. Your playing is absolutely beautiful, the hands are just a tad distracting, that's all...

  • @eleoele1 I can understand that some may find the hand somewhat distracting.

  • @Animexduo The whole lifting your hands high after you let off a note is quite distracting! I understand that you just want to let off with your wrist, but I also play piano and it does not need to be that exaggerated!

  • @eleoele1 Henry (the one who's playing) just plays like that. No specific reason.

  • @LOOPYMOOCOW Considering theres 88 keys on a piano, and also the presence of chords and playing with 2 hands and all that, that might take a few centurys.

  • learning piano for idiots: press every possible key in every possible order until you get what you want hehe

  • @Animexduo But hey, fantastic playing, you really make music, if that makes sense:)

  • @eleoele1 Quit hating on that man. haha.

  • wen u think u can play theres always someone on a grand piano who can do it better

  • (Ingoring that all business about "raising your hand" after hitting notes) let me say that this is, of cousre, a "full" arrangement of the song -, not just the "piano part" as is played on the original recording. In that context, it was VERY GOOD !; and ACCURATE (which a surprising MANY of the other postings, here, aren`t.) BRAVO ! ... and whatever your technique may be, what matters are the sounds you create.

  • I love it it's just awesome! keep on going!

  • @Animexduo It's just quite distracting, that's all.
