I understand. I put off making a move too, because moving to a new church is difficult. Thanks for watching and posting.

I am a part of an Evangelical Protestant congregation and it is not easy. I am going to move but I have been procrastinating about it. You have made very good points that I will take into consideration but I know I have to move. It makes me sad, but I must do it.

I understand how you feel. I identify most strongly with a church denomination that could be described as a group of rugged individualists. I have no problem when people tell me how they feel and why, even if they are very passionate about their beliefs. But I draw a very strong line about people telling me what to believe. I do not like that.
Thanks for watching and commenting. :-D
Be carefull! This is fasle teaching according to the bible. We are to love all and accept all yes! But we are to live according to Gods law all the same.
[Christendom]. Let me spell out the problem: A-p-o-s-t-a-s-y!

@MrGrafted You are denying God's grace. That makes you even worse than an apostate.

Scriptures clearly show that throughout time God has imparted to man the authority to judge (Leviticus 19:15; Deuteronomy 1:16; Deuteronomy 16:18; Judges 2:16-19; II Chronicles 19:5; Ezra 7:25; Isaiah 1:17; Ezekiel 23:45; John 7:24; Romans 2:27; I Corinthians 2:15; I Corinthians 6:). In Zechariah 3:7

@MrGrafted First of all, some of the texts you cite have zero to do with homosexuality. You are just throwing your spiritual fists around wildly, without actually making contact. You are acting like a Bible bully. Not a good strategy.
The word homosexuality does not exist anywhere in the original Biblical languages.

For it is no business of mine to be judging those who are outside; but it is yours to be judging those who are among you. 1 Corinthians 5:12) ect ect The word judge has been so perverted that to judge anything is now considered by many to be anti-Christian behavior. Well, what does God have to say on this subject? Is it true that Christians are told not to judge? The simple answer is no. In fact, according to Scripture those who do not judge are more likely to be led astray by false doctrines.

@MrGrafted You have perverted God's grace. You are acting as judge, jury and executioner, the way you are posting here. You are not God. You do not have the authority to speak for God. Your doctrinal position is based on the understanding of people, not on what the actual Greek and Hebrew say.
