Ostrich Walk - Frankie Trumbauer 1927.

Together with Bix Beiderbecke on cornet Frankie Trumbauer on C-melody sax created a set or landmark recordings which became some of the finest and certainly most innovative jazz recordings of the late twenties.
In this recording youll hear also Eddie Lang on guitar, Don Murray clarinet, Bill Rank trombone, Red Ingle alt sax, Itzy Riskin piano and Chauncy Moorehouse drums.
Bix who adored Louis Armstrong, bacame his chief competitor among cornetists, but due to their totally different sounds and styles one could really not compare them.
