Brazil Sync Swim Finals - "Machete Medley"

Family Machete represents the country of Brazil in the Honor Academy Celebration LTE, Synchronized Swimming Competition 2008.

This won third overall (though, technically second because Ministry Team doesn't even count).

An anonymous Korean would like to state that this should have won first, because it was the alleged "crowd favorite", and Dave Hasz gave it a 9 out of 10 (the highest score he gave anybody; he gave MT a 7).

I still really liked Spain's, though. Wouldn't have rather lost to anyone else (except maybe Egypt... or France. XD)

I took out the noise from the video (the cheering, etc) for clarity's sake.

By the way MT is a second year intern class and does count. They won fair and square. If anyone doesn't count, it would have been the staff.

Aww, but Staff didn't compete in the Sync Swim last year! So by default MT is the team that doesn't count :P Especially since there were like three judges that were biased haha XD

But I guess they officially count cause they didn't win this year :/ If that makes any sense at all...

Um, Point was Ministry Team = 2nd year interns. To say we don't count would be saying that CAs, MAs, etc. teams don't count as well. MT ministry placements may not be on campus but that does not make them any less apart from the internship. If you are jealous, you could always apply to travel the road for an internship year. If you think it's a piece of cake, you have another thing coming to you.

Yes, MT is a very vital part of the TM body. When I said they "don't count", I ONLY meant in regards to the Sync Swim, cause they had won every year in the past.

Twas a joke, friend. A joke about the SYNCHRONIZED SWIM. Not about the position. Don't be bitter :]

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate MT and the hard work they put into ATFs, considering I've been to seven of them.

ok, not trying to be an attack dog. I just know the feelings of some of the interns I have run into and they generally have very negative feelings against MT. I'm not bitter at all. So please understand when I hear (or in this case read) that the Ministry Team doesn't matter that I feel there is something that needs to be addressed. Also, I'm glad to hear that a team was able to give the MT a run for there money and win. May the teams' creative abilities soar.

I LOVED that one! The best part was when you guys did the Toby Mac song, and you had someone for each ethnicity listed. XD I couldn't believe it! Definitely a super-awesome job. Man I miss the HA. =)
