Me doing a "roll down" and a "kick up" on a pair of 3 ft. "Big Foot" stilts. The picture of the stilt trick at the end of the video is called a scorpion.

  • where can someone get jaywalker stilts?

  • @nanokid10 good question. internet would be my best guess cause i've never seen a place that sells stilts off the shelf. Though any place that i've walked Drywalls, Jaywalkers, Bigfoots (like these in the video), or powerskips... the company that i worked for provided them. But i know you CAN get powerskips offline, so that'd be the first place to try, but i'm not aware of any website.

  • omg, im learning stilt walking and dont c myself ever being able to do this.. i can kinda squat on them so maybe its doable. but not in my heavy ass drywall stilts. can this be dont on any stilt?? considering making a 2x4 set to hopefully b lighter.

  • @69techlover i wouldnt try it on dry wall stilts. It's nearly impossible. Really the only way to do it is on Bigfoots (like i have on) or on JayWalkers which are very similar to bigfoots. I dont know where you can order them though. I got these from the entertainment company i worked for.

This trick is do-able b/c the foot plate controls the bottom of the stilts, allowing toe and heel control. This allows me to control my balance as i lean backwards as well as pull up.

  • @69techloverbtw, unfortunately i think my company, as well as disney are the only two company in possession of these kinds of stilts, and they run around 2,500 USD a pair :-/

  • I have some big foot stilts from 1992, wish I would have thought of that. too old now! LOL

  • @wmcs11 understandable. with practice and the right supervision i'm sure you could get it eventually :) Problem i only know a handful of guys in the world that can do it.

  • @FreonUWP i trained at disney as well! but like you never performed. honestly i didnt want to though. they dont pay enough. i took what skill i had to outside contractors and made a lot there.

  • Bigfoots are the best! I wish they were available to outsiders! I was trained at Disney but never had a chance to perform. I think I'm about to get a pair of Powerisers or Air-Trekkers for fun.

  • @wmcs11 i believe thats around the time they came out actually, haha. i could be wrong though
