  • Thanks Fit Girl15 ! Your cams and comments are inspirational ! I have had a brain tumour removed at the beg of Jan 2012. I am still struggling with that bloody facial palsy. Hope I'll be able to get some stress release exercises. Did you practice any ?

  • @12345MrProfit Not really. I found facial exercises would just add MORE stress to my already stressful life, so it was best FOR ME not to do them... I listened and my body healed on it's own.

I did other stress reducing things though, like take hot baths, meditate, and get a lot more sleep! Your body heals the most at rest!

    GOOD LUCK!

Don't let the doctors talk you into that incorrect diagnosis and mind set!

  • Why less than 1 month ? It has been 5 weeks now. Should I practice or it doesn't make sense ?

    Much greets !

    Piotr, Poland

  • @12345MrProfit 1 month gives your body time to heal ITSELF! Imagine trying to run on a broken leg before it has been set and healed properly... not a good idea! Same goes for the recovery of your facial nerve!

I personally think you can try practicing facial exercises safely after 1 month of recovery... but they are by no means REQUIRED for a complete recovery!!!

Reduce your stress as much as possible. Sometimes, facial exercises are just adding MORE stress! :(

  • Hi can u tell me if your eye cornea did not get dry before you were able to close properly? Did your vision get uncomfortable? Where do you live? Also can you suggest me something to get better? What are the things you did ?

  • @charli7979 I don;t know whatyou mean, about the cornea... you do NOT want it to dry out! Use Lacrilube or eye drops!!! Yes, vision was very uncomfortable for about a MONTH! I live in Alberta, Canada.

I recommend anyone with this condition reduce their daily stresses, get more rest, and supplement with the right vitamins daily! Your body needs to regain balance... and it will heal itself, but you need to create the right environment!

  • Thanks :)

  • Thank you so much for your help

  • I mean the doctor said that my eye is dry and they don't want any kind of risk or infection on my eye but I feel ok

  • @charli7979 HI Johanna. I'm sorry to hear that you have come down with BP... I'm even more sorry that you have such aggressive doctors, that won't let your body heal itself on it's own before attempting surgery. I did NOT have any surgery for my case... no gold weights, no botox, very little facial exercising too. Time will heal you... too bad Western Medicine does not subscribe to the philosophy of dealing with the root of the ailment... Just the symptoms.

I hope the surgery goes well for u.
