Causing a Commotion is a song by American recording artist Madonna. It was released as the second single from the soundtrack album Who's That Girl on August 25, 1987 by Sire Records. Its Silver Screen Single Mix later appeared on the 1991 UK compilation EP The Holiday Collection. Written and produced by Madonna and Stephen Bray, the song was inspired by Madonna's relationship with then husband Sean Penn, and his abusive and violent nature. Containing a dancey, up-tempo groove, the song begins with the chorus and is accompanied by a four-note descending bassline and staccato chords in the verse.

If "Who's That Girl" had been released in the late 1930's, it would have been a huge hit. Good or bad as nothing to do with anything in Pop Culture...........it's all a matter of what the public at the time decides to unanimously accept.

I"ve never seen the film but love this song so much i think it"s one of the best pop songs ever made and i love watching her performing it live on here on her blond ambition tour.If you haven"t seen it yet i suggest you view it now to see the queen at her most popular phase.
