After researching on YouTube and Google without finding a good video showing how to replace the headlight bulb on a Kawasaki Ninja 250 2008, I decided to make one myself to help you guys out.

People say it's very hard, takes long time, need to open the whole front cover etc. It's NOT HARD AT ALL!

You will replace it in less than 5 min!

Just one good advice!

DO NOT TOUCH THE LIGHT GLOBE!! (glass part) Hold on the metal part. Touching the glass with bare hands may result in the globe overheating and burning out prematurely.

If the globe has come int contact with your skin, clean it with methylated spirits on a clean cloth.

Thanks for watching!

  • did you have to buy a different bulb for the highbeam?

  • @Ceefa01 I didn't have to change the highbeam one, but it might be different. You better check at your local shop. Thanks

  • Wonderful mate! Thank you for your help! only helpful video about this! I LOVE MY NINJA

  • @thatfellow2010 Thanks mate! These little Ninjas are really good indeed. I use mine everyday. I took it for a 12000km service and didn't need to change anything, apart from oil. It cost me $120 (nz) only! Awesome! $30 bucks every 2 weeks for petrol. What a winner! :)

  • big thanks for the video! going to replace mine today - after reading forums i thought i needed to take the fairings off... thank got for youtube! and YOU!

  • @TheMazaxist amazing how easy it is, isn't it? Funny people in forums and everywhere tell you to remove the fairings etc. When I called a garage to find out prices the guy told me it was between 30min - 1hour to get it replaced! yeah right - thanks for your comment! ;)

  • Thanks so much this will save me lot of money and time hassling with the bloody shop. I just have to work out which side it is now, but that shouldn't take much effort.

  • Thank you so much, last night after work the bulb died, so I had to highbeam it all the way home. Very helpful video cheers man!

  • Great video!

  • Thanks, saved me a lot of time!

  • Thank you so much. Only thing I might add is to make sure when you pull the old light out, pull off the black connector at the base of the lightbulb because you need that when you put the new one in :) But this really did save me a ton of time and effort. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  • Thanks for the video, was very helpful!
