The Magnetic Fields perform the "Holiday" classic "Take Ecstasy With Me" at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco on February 29, 2008. Featuring vocals by Claudia Gonson. Many concert attendees were seen weeping with joy after this performance.

I like both versions. I feel !!! is paying homage to a song and a band that never got it's due. There are so many great songs lost in time and so many horrible songs in the endless family restaurant playlist (see Brown Eyed Girl or anything Tom Petty) I love it when someone brings to light a gem from bygone days.

The thing I really don't like about the !!! version is how much they've changed the lyrics.

remember on the ny concert when they stared playing this song i got the goosebumps, and i have it now again watching this video :)
